JPJC NUS Computer Science (enrolling 2026)
I’m strong in Secondary Math and Physics, and I teach clearly from fundamentals to exam-style questions. A-Levels: AAA/AAD (H2 Mathematics, H2 Physics). As a student myself, I understand how students learn best and how to build confidence step-by-step. I also mentored juniors as an SAF Specialist, so I’m consistent, responsible, and able to give clear progress updates to parents with specific next steps. My teaching style is to diagnose the student’s gaps, focus on the weakest areas, and use repeated targeted practice until they become manageable. I place strong emphasis on confidence-building, so students can complete questions independently. The student will go through 3 stages of learning. Stage 1: Full guidance on solving a question, step by step. Stage 2: A hint when the students is very close to solving the question. Stage 3: Student being able to solve questions independently and explain the concepts to me, showing me that the student have completely understood the concept. I'm able to show different methods of solving a question, explain the rationale of each methods of solving, and one of the method may be the most suitable for the student. We could also have a trial lesson to see if my teaching style matches the student's learning style, and we can decide from then. Thank you.
