I’m Wynn, a Singapore Polytechnic student pursuing a Diploma in Aerospace Electronics, with a 3.90 CGPA and a place on the Year 1 Director’s Honour Roll. I’ve always enjoyed Mathematics and problem-solving. In Secondary 4, I was placed in the Top 5% of my cohort for academic excellence. I achieved A1 for O-Level Mathematics and Grade 1 for N-Level Additional Mathematics, and have continued to perform strongly in Mathematics-related modules at Singapore Polytechnic. Although I’m new to formal private tutoring, I’ve regularly helped my classmates, coursemates and younger sister with their studies. I also volunteered at Heart Friends Student Care Centre, supporting younger students with their schoolwork and guiding them through a structured learning environment. As a tutor, I believe understanding matters more than memorising steps. Instead of simply giving students the answer, I break difficult concepts into simple steps, use relatable examples and guide them through the reasoning behind each solution. My aim is to help students become confident enough to tackle problems independently. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my pace and explanations to suit their needs. I’m patient, approachable and willing to explain a concept in different ways until it clicks. Ultimately, I hope to make learning less intimidating, more engaging and more rewarding, while helping students build strong foundations, confidence and effective problem-solving skills.
