Profile Summary
I am an experienced Computing tutor with over 7 years of teaching experience, specialising in helping secondary school students excel in O-Level Computing. My background spans both education and industry — I have taught at Republic Polytechnic, Nanyang Polytechnic, Orita Sinclair (private polytechnic), and through several tuition agencies. I am currently a part-time lecturer at Republic Polytechnic, where I teach UI/UX Design, Programming, and Web Development.

Academic & Teaching Background
I have consistently achieved strong academic results in programming-related subjects throughout my polytechnic and university studies, typically scoring “A” or “B” grades. Although Computing was not offered at O-Levels during my time in school, my tertiary training and teaching experience have equipped me with deep practical and conceptual knowledge of programming and computing principles.

Teaching Approach & Materials
I focus exclusively on Computing tuition as it aligns best with my expertise and passion. My lessons are structured to build both conceptual understanding and hands-on skills, with an emphasis on problem-solving, logical thinking, and practical coding exercises. I provide my own curated materials that align with the latest O-Level Computing syllabus, including updates to the revised syllabus coming into effect in 2026.

Student Results
My students typically see an improvement of about two grades — for instance, moving from B4 to A2. One of my most notable cases was in 2019, when a student who had scored a “U” (below 30 marks) in their preliminary exams went on to achieve a “B3” (65–69 marks) in the actual O-Level examination after one month of focused, intensive tutoring.
