Tutor’s Teaching Background

My teaching experience started in VJC, where I was a peer mentor for my friends who were not doing as well in Math in school. I taught them once a week together with ad hoc teachings & assistance to my peers whenever they required.  Apart from this, I also have had multiple 1-1 tutor experience, teaching mathematics to a wide range of students from lower to higher primary levels as well as both E & A math to secondary level students. I have previously taught a total of 4 students (Sec 3&4 E&A Math, as well as Primary School students) and all of them showed considerable improvement! I am currently also teaching 2 students, Primary 3 & 5 mathematics. I hope to use my relatively younger age to build a good relationship with the student and hopefully make them that bit more interested in mathematics! My usual method of teaching involves teaching the relevant topic's concepts to the student first, followed by ample practice and application of the concepts in questions, while clearing any doubts they have along the way as well.
