Tutor’s Teaching Background

I have an accumulated 5 years of formal teaching experience under MOE, and teach an average of 400 students a week. I am trained, passionate, and well-versed in the Art subject and have carried out numerous successful lessons with my students, as evident in their engagement and active participation, and in their keenness in future lessons with me. As a bonus, my students produce A-grade quality work. A recent creative undertaking involved my participation in the UOB Painting of the Year 2020 art competition, earning my art piece the Highly Commended Award. The art piece is currently the property of UOB and the exposure has landed me a collaboration with a local art gallery. My areas of strength include pencil sketching/drawing with tonal values for both realistic and abstract art, painting with watercolour and acrylic. On the personal front, i spend an average of 10 hours a week with art-making to ensure my skills are up-to-date and relevant.
