Tutor’s Teaching Background

My teaching approach is centered on understanding and adapting to each student's unique learning style. Recognizing that every student has their strengths and areas for improvement, I tailor my lessons to match their pace and learning preferences. I like to target students' weaknesses and provide various examples and techniques to overcome them. Regular feedback sessions with students and parents help me monitor progress and adjust strategies as needed. I have been tutoring for over two years, focusing on Mathematics and Science for lower secondary students in Singapore. With most showing significant improvement in their grades, moving from an average of 'D' to 'A' and 'B' grades within a semester. For example, one of my students transitioned from NA to Express for Mathematics after scoring above 90% for his final grade during Secondary 1 and received an A in Secondary 2. I have experience teaching younger students, one example would be my little brother and cousins, that proceeded to do well in school.
