Tutor’s Teaching Background

I am currently working as a part-time tutor, looking to teach students around ages of Primary and Secondary School. I taught 2 of my younger sisters. One of which is currently in Ngee Ann Polytechnic while the other is in Rulang Primary School (P5). I am very strong in Mathematics and strong in Sciences (Primary School, Secondary School Physics and Chemistry). As of 2023, currently am teaching 2 Primary 5 students (Mathematics and Sciences) and 1 Secondary 2 NA student (Mathematics). Before this I had more students including P4 Math, Sec 4 Chemistry. ⁃ Reasons why the parent should select me: I am currently studying in NTU (Chemical And Biomolecular Engineering) and I have experience teaching Primary and Secondary school Math and Sciences (Pure Physics and Pure Chemistry) as I am currently still teaching my youngest sister who is in Rulang Primary School. Her grades are consistently around 70% of grade and i can foresee her getting better grades when it is near PSLE. At the same time, I am very confident that I can handle young children and spark the interest in them when it comes to learning boring subjects such as Mathematics. As a student back in Rulang Primary and Maris Stella High School, learning math can be difficult as the way they teach me back in the day is grind grind grind. However, griding will be useful during National Exams when the schools teach you shortcuts to tackle tedious Math questions. I’m also knowledgeable when it comes to Primary school science as i’m able to make students be interested in learning how foundation science works. Grasping concepts will be made easier with me as i do mind maps for my student who is in P6 science tuition under me.
