Tutor’s Teaching Background

- I have been teaching for 3 years and my students have shown significant improvement over the years - Student A went from 40 in Malay Sec 1 Mid-year to 73 for EOY, and improved to A2 for Sec 2 EOY - Student B went from 52 Malay in Primary 4 to 70 in Primary 5 Mid-terms - Student C went from 31 Malay in Primary 4 to 55 in Primary 5 Mid-terms - I am flexible and can conduct lessons online and face-to-face - I used to teach face-to-face 10 K2 students, 3 P2 ML students, 4 P5 MLstudents, 2 Sec1 ML students, 5 Sec2 ML students and 1 Sec3 HML student, and 1 Sec4 HML Student - I used to teach P1-P6 online classes and Sec 1-3 HML/ML online classes, and 2 IP students (1 Cedar, 1 Raffles) - I have experience working with scholars (from Indonesia, Philippines and helping to improve their Malay) - I emphasise students being able to relate to the content they are studying. I use interactive methods such as playing games and fun activities beyond doing mundane worksheets so that students can better visualise and absorb the content. - I specialise in writing and oral for Malay hence, I tend to focus more on such aspects. - Going back to tutoring after taking a 10 month break to focus more on my studies and my other responsibilities
