Tutor’s Teaching Background

I restarted adhoc tuition for the last 2yrs but more of my experiences are from 10yrs ago.

Year 2006 - I taught a P3 boy from Cedar Primary for Chinese and Mathematics till he finished P4 whom has improved from band 3 to band 2.

Year 2007 - I am a part time course coordinator in Cleverland Tutorial Centre for a year. I had done relief teaching such as P1 English and Mathematics in Hougang branch and P5 Mathematics in Parkway branch when tutors are absent. Also, I was coaching a P2 hyperactive boy from Yangzheng Primary for Chinese and Mathematics whom has shown improvement in his behaviour and results.

Year 2008 I coached a P2 and three P1 Indonesia boys in English, Mathematics and Chinese. All of them have scored band 2 and above grade for all the subjects. Also, I took up three group tuition in Key Learning Centre. I taught 2 classes of mixed levels which consist of K2, P1 and P2 in English, Mathematics and Chinese.

Year 2009 - After completing my diploma, I was a full time tutor. I continue to teach in Key Learning Centre and my classes have increased one more for each of the above. In addition, I have 5 private students ranging from P1 – P6 in English, Maths, Science and Chinese.

Year 2010 - I have reduced the number of classes in Key Learning Centre to 2 classes of K2 – P2 and 3 Primary 2 private students. I taught all 3 private students and they have fare at least Band 2 and above for each subject. Then, I took up relief teaching in Rosyth School and Chongfu Primary until I had a 2 months fixed contract relief teaching with Jingshan Primary from 20 Sept to 18 Nov 2010.
