Tutor’s Teaching Background

I possess three years of experience tutoring English, Math, and Science (Primary 3, 4, and 5). For English, assessments are targeted towards specific areas for improvement, such as grammar, vocabulary, or composition. Use of real-world events and places are used to expand their knowledge base and contextualise the lessons taught. For Math, when students face challenges in fractions, decimals, and geometry, I utilise visual aides and real world examples to better engage their attention and facilitate a better grasp of the topic. For Science, I attempt to foster a deeper curiosity and understanding of the syllabus through videos and images, as well as explaining the practical implications of the lessons taught. This is to help students gain an intuitive understanding and a deepened curiosity for the subject matter.
