Tutor’s Teaching Background

I am eager to begin my journey as an English tutor, driven by my strong passion for the language and my desire to help others improve their skills. While I may not have formal tutoring experience, I have honed my English proficiency through extensive reading, writing, and public speaking. I scored an A1 in my GCE O-Level English examination in 2024, demonstrating my strong command of the language. Additionally, I have excelled in academic writing, winning a bronze medal in the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition. As a former executive committee (Exco) member in my school, I have developed strong leadership and communication skills, allowing me to guide and support others effectively. My experience in emceeing and participating in school competitions has further strengthened my ability to articulate ideas clearly and engage with students in a supportive manner. However, I am only available for 1.5 months as I will be going overseas to continue my education. Despite this, I am committed to making the most of my time as a tutor, helping students gain confidence and improve their proficiency in English.
