Tutor’s Teaching Background

I was born and raised in China until I was 12, finished primary school in China. My Chinese grades have always been A1. I took O level Chinese in 2018 and 2023, both times I score distinction in Oral and A1 in written. I’m a very easy going and patient person.

Grades:

2018 and 2023 O level Chinese, Distinction in Oral both times and A1 in written both times. Top in Chinese throughout secondary school years. Compo score 32-37/40, email writing 17-19/20.

I got eagles leadership award and 21st century star award (leadership).

Distinction in Chinese Oral and A1 in Chinese written.

I’m patient and easy-going. I’m bilingual and can explain concepts in English and Chinese so that student can better understand concepts and relate to it. I also do have empathy which allows me to understand student’s struggles. I believe that with my knowledge of the Chinese language coming from China , would be a better advantage for the student, coupled with the fact that I can explain concepts together with English to allow the student to understand better.

I have taught a couple of my classmates who are weaker in Chinese , and they have improved and are able to speak Chinese better.
