Tutor’s Teaching Background

As an educator, I strongly believe in personalized framework in teaching. Every students learns and excel differently, hence I work my way through understanding the needs of my students during tutoring sessions. My experience in tutoring lies in teaching students from Preschool until Primary 6. I was a teacher for an After School Care programme (Primary) teaching English Language (Comprehension, Composition, Grammar and Oral), Mathematics, Malay Mother Tongue and Science for 1 year as well as a teacher assistant in teaching Preschools Students of age 4 until 6 years old in English (phonics and reading) and Mathematics. I am a Masters graduate in Education and currently a Research Associate at NIE (NTU) working on teaching programs with MOE. As a potential tutor to your child(ren), I would work towards ensuring my teaching methods are catered and personalized to each individual students, sparking their interest and love for the subject for them to excel and enjoy them at the same time.
