Tutor’s Teaching Background

I am a dedicated piano teacher passionate about nurturing a lifelong love for music. With experience teaching students from beginners to Grade 6, I have guided learners across a wide range of ages—from 6 year olds to adults. My teaching philosophy emphasizes building strong technique, fostering musical independence, and tailoring lessons to each student’s abilities and interests. I am committed to helping every learner achieve their personal piano goals, whether that means preparing for exams, performing confidently, or simply enjoying the joy of playing. Beyond piano, I joined the Guitar Ensemble in Junior College and the Concert Band CCA in Primary School. I have also performed on the piano during company D&D. Students may choose to learn in the comfort of their own home or at my Hougang studio equipped with a Kawai Grand Piano.
